D.C is home to all the legislative branches of government such as The House, The Senate and The President

Founded in 1790, D.C was choosen to be the capitol of the newly formed American republic by George Washington, the very first U.S president.

Ever since then D.C has been the center of politics and power in the United States. Important building such as the Pentagon and the White House are located in D.C.

Washington D.C is known for Its expansive metropolitan public transportation system. The strong public transportation system helps thousands of D.C residents go to and from work or any other activity around the city.

D.C is also a very international city. With a diverse population and over 175 different embassies and international cultural centers.

Aswell as being known for It's famous monuments, D.C is the home of various interesting mueseums that hold unique artifacts you may not see anywhere else in the world. Mueseums such as the Smithsonian Mueseum of Natural History.
